Brenda Faye Holland, July 26, 1943 - Aug. 17, 1996 - - Brenda Faye Holland, 53, of Sandusky County Road 204, died Saturday evening at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She had been ill since July 1. She was born in Swainsboro, Ga., to Jim H. and Bernice (Turner) Woods and graduated from Liberty High School in Hinesville, Ga. She married Gilson F. Holland on Oct. 21, 1961, in Hinesville, and he survives. A homemaker, Mrs. Holland also worked as a seamstress at Starlite Industry, formerly the Howard Zink Co. She was currently a member and trustee of the Fremont Eagles, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and a former member of the Fremont Moose Lodge. Survivors include her mother of Ludowici, Ga., daughter Lisa Holland Provonsha and son Tim Holland, both of Fremont, sisters Colleen Deal and Linda Shuman, both of Hinesville, and Helen Ross of Ludowici, and two grand-children. Son Terrance G. Holland, brother James D. Woods and her father are deceased. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary. Burial is at Union Cemetery in Elmore. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Eagles services are 7 p.m. today and VFW services are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to medical research pertaining to aneurysms.
