FRIONA - Claudia Hinkle Adams, 87, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church at Friona with the Rev. Mark Stovall officiating. Burial will be in the Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
Mrs. Adams moved from Amarillo five years ago where she became a resident of Prairie Acres Nursing Home. She married M.W. "Casey" Adams on Dec. 1, 1951, in Clovis, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband on June 1, 1983; a son, Rodney Hinkle; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Hinkle of Friona; a sister, Eva Taylor of Crosbyton; a brother, Billy Holladay of Floydada; a daughter-in-law, Oleta Kalka of Panhandle; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Prairie Acres or Bykota Baptist.
