Judson Clemons Holcombe Jr. was the son of Judson Clemons Holcombe, Sr. and Mary Holcombe of Chattanooga, Tennessee and the grandson of Bedney Franklin and Alsey Elizabeth Conn Holcombe of Conn's Creek District, Ballground, Cherokee County, GA.

HOLCOMBE-JUDSON CLEMONS, JR.,
65, of Cleveland, Tenn., died Wednesday in a nursing home there. Formerly of Chattanooga, he was a 25 year Cleveland resident. A U.S. Army air Corps Veteran of World War II, he was cited several times for his military service. A life member of DAV Post 25, he was a member of the American Legion and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a stepson, Alvin R. Poe, Jr., Scottsboro, Ala; four stepdaughters, Carolyn Dailey, Delores Millians, Gloria Hewitt, and Janet McKinney, all of Cleveland; 18 step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be a 1 p.m. today in Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Clifford Davis officiating. The family is receiving friends at the Wildwood Chapel of Buckner-Rush Funeral Homes, Cleveland.
