ADAMS (Holbrook), Nellie E. Age 86 of Brookville, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 with her family by her side. She had worked as a cashier at Goldman's for more than 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Englewood and the Vandalia Seniors. She is survived by her daughters: Debra Adams of GA, Mary (Pat) Zimmerman of St. Paris, grandchildren: Chelsea Boston, Rene (Christopher) Edmondson, Stephen Boston, Bonnie Zimmerman, Jenna Zimmerman, great grandchildren: Brandon, Jordyn, Zachary, Joshua, Boston, Marshall, Nora, sisters: Annie (Rafe) Yost of Clayton, Phyllis (Don) Lucas of FL, brother-in-law: Jimmy Zideroff, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin and Berneice (Nichols) Holbrook, husband of 63 years: William Nolan "Bill" Adams, son: John Adams, sisters: Joyce Taylor, Ruby Zideroff and brother-in-law: Lawrence Taylor. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the wonderful people who loved and took care of Nellie, especially those at Brookhaven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
