Sharon Jean Blonder, 71 of Paducah passed away at 7:03 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Lourdes Hospital.
Always a dedicated homemaker with a smile on her face, Sharon enjoyed cooking and especially making and delivering soup to her sick friends. She volunteered for Lourdes Hospice and was a member of Lone Oak Womans Club. Gardening and decorating for all occasions was something that she dearly loved. She and Ben loved to spend time with family as well as taking trips together. Sharon was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class.
Survivors include husband of fifty-one years, Bernard "Ben" Blonder of Paducah; one daughter, Renee Griffith; one grandson, Austin Griffith both of Paducah; and several cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Alfred and Amelia Kineman Hohman.
Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jack Donald Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Pell Cemetery in Brookport, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
