Bernice had lived in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and spent most of her life in Ravenna.
Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Strader of Diamondhead, Mississippi, grandchildren, Cindy (Don) Burger, Robin (Benson) Wilson, Jackie (Michael) Joachim and David (Kristen) James, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Betty (Russell) Girton of Rootstown. She was preceded in death by her sons, Darwin and James E. Hogle, Jr. and brothers, Billy and Junior Church.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.
