NEWARK — Bobby Hogans, 65, of Newark died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in a Batesville hospital.

Born June 17, 1947, in Lagrange, Ga., he was the son of Grady B. and Evelyn Turner Hogans. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Hogans; three sons, David Lee Hogans, Roy B. Hogans and Grady Allen Hogans, all of Newark; four brothers, Ronald Hogans, Anthony Hogans, Scotty Hogans and Tony Hogans, all of Florida; three sisters, Gennell Stanley, Elaine Hogans and Theresa Walton, all of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Hogans Jr.; two grandchildren, Roy Lee Hogans and Alisha Marie Hogans; and four brothers, Jerry Hogans, Ralph Hogans, Roger Hogans and Michael Hogans.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville. Burial will be in Wood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Canditt, Chris Howell, Kevin Sanders, Timmy Wilson, Lonnie Powell and Randy Sanders.

No visitation will be held.
