Mary L. DeLisle, 78, of Terre Haute went to be with her heavenly Father at 1 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in her residence. She was born March 29, 1929 to Carl Hoff and Mabel Martin Hoff. She was employed as an office clerk for E.H. Binley Company, and also a babysitter for about 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver T. DeLisle.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Smothers and husband Clark of Kalamazzo, Mich., and Linda Phillips and husband Bill of Terre Haute; a granddaughter, Lydia; a brother Paul Hoff of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; and two brothers, Maurice Hoff and Walter Hoff.
She was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 43. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carly Stuckiensather officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.
