GLENN HOEMIG, 86, died Friday at Kingston Health Care Center. He retired in 1983 after 40 years as co-owner and operator of Hoemig's Market, along with his wife. He was also a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Melva; two sons, Tom of Brussels, Belgium, and Jerry of Fort Wayne; a brother, Norman of Jimmerson Lake; two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters. Services at 11:30 a.m. Monday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., with calling from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and a Summit City Lodge No. 170 service pending. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Shriners Children's Hospital or to North Highlands Presbyterian Church
