Arnold L. Hoelting, 80 of Perkins Pavilion died Wednesday April 17th at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings.

Scripture services were Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart church (sic) with funeral services Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Father Charles Gergen officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mr. Hoelting was born April 6, 1905 at Lawrence. He lived in the Lawrence community and moved to Nelson in 1974. He moved to Perkins Pavilion in 1984.

He is survived by one brother, Ralph of Lawrence; and three sisters, Leona Bowen of Plainview, Minn., Delores Beach of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Ray (Gladys) Herz of Lawrence.

Funeral services for Arnold Hoelting were held at Sacred Heart Church, Lawrence, Nebraska on Saturday morning April 20th at 10:30 a.m. Father Charles Gergen and Father Mark Pfieffer con-celebrated the Mass of the Resurrection and officiated at the graveside services at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mass servers were Todd Streff, Tim Streff, Robert Ostdiek and Scott Buescher. Lector was Craig Buescher. Music leader was Tom Dolnicek and organist was Linda Ostdiek.

Pallbearers were Roland Hoelting, Lyle Hoelting, Eugene Hoelting, Lynn Hoelting, Don Herz and Gene Herz.

Arnold Hoelting, son of Conrad John and Margaret (Buescher) Hoelting was born at Lawrence, Ne. on April 6, 1905 and died April 17, 1985 at the Mary Lanning Hospital. A retired farmer he lived in the Nelson and Lawrence area all his life.

He is survived by his brother Ralph of Lawrence and three sisters, Mrs. Leona Bowen of Plainview, Minnesota, Mrs. Delores Beach of Spokane, Washington and Mrs. Gladys Herz of Lawrence, Ne.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers Robert, Albert, Herman and Walter and a sister Celestine.

Relatives and friends attending the funeral rites came from the states of Minnesota and Texas. Towns in Nebraska came from Lincoln, Kearney, Hastings, Gresham, Superior, Nelson, Deweese, Fairfield, Doniphan, Oxford, and Blue Hill.
