Elizabeth Hahn, age 86, formerly of 3510 S. Custer St., Manitowoc died Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2004 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7531 English Lake Road, Newtonburg. Rev. Victor Headrick will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Elizabeth was born Dec. 13, 1917 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Huebner Hoefner. She grew up and was educated in the Manitowoc area and graduated from Lincoln High School. On May 28, 1938, she married Harry R. Hahn, who preceded her in death May 17, 2002. They celebrated 63 years together. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg, the Ladies Aid of the Church, the Lutheran Women?s Missionary Society and for 50 years a member of the Manitowoc County Extension Homemakers. She was a member of the Manitowoc Organ Club and enjoyed baking.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; her grandson; her granddaughter; great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. Monday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg, to the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorials to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
