Alyne Christine Hoeffer, 84, passed away January 3, 2015 in Bowie. She was born March 23, 1930 in Bowie, to Ernst and Barbara Emmert Egenbacher. Alyne married Jake Hoeffner on June 5, 1951 in Wichita Falls. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and worked as an operator, bookkeeper and bank teller until her retirement in 1982.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jake Hoeffner, parents Ernst and Barbara Egenbacher, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Edwards and husband Steve of Granbury, TX.
A Graveside Service will be 2:00, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Brushy Cemetery, under the direction of Shaw’s Funeral Home.
