Old Aunt Nancy Brown died on the 15th of January , at the residence of her son, Aaron Brown. She was in her 94th year of age, and was buried the following day at the family burying ground. , at the residence of the late Chrisley Hodges, in the presence of a large crowd of people.
Funeral services were led by S. T. Redick. She was the mother of thirteen children, and at the time of her death, she had 110 grandchildren , 331 great grandchildren, and 46 great-great grandchildren, making a total of 500 direct descendants .
