She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil in 1978.
Bonnie lived in the ancestral home in Vevay Township from 1924 to 1985.
Surviving are her son James Bodrie of Muskegon, Stepson, Leonard Bodrie of North Fort Meyer, Florida; stepdaughter, Kathleen Harris of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Meaghan Leigh, Colton James and Teighlor Lynn Bodrie; step grandchildren, Susan Howard, Dr. Greg Bodrie, Sonia Kelso, Terry Hitchngs, Shelia Harris and Janice Harris.
Bonnie loved people and volunteered at nursing homes, churches and schools. She enjoyed homemaking, cooking, performing in the Del-Hi-Hos Fun Band and singing in the Eden United Brethren Church choir, (She was an alto) where she was a longtime member. She loved taking her guitar to nursing homes. One of Bonnie's biggest pleasures was being of service to others.
She worked as a clerk in the Probate Court of Ingham County. She was valedictorian of her high school class.
Bonnie was a 'care giver'. She took care of her mother, husband Phil, and an aunt.
She and Phil had one son, James (Jim) who was a teacher. Jim had 3 children.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at the Eden U.B. Church, with Rev. Wesley Emerson officiating. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason, MI
