HODGES Donald - Wayne Hodges, 64, went home to be with his Lord & Savior, Saturday, May 1, 2004. Don was born November 4, 1939 in Jacksonville, Florida to Henry A. "Buster" Hodges and LaNell L. Miley. He was retired from the City of Jacksonville and was deeply involved in various ministries to the homeless of our city and the Ukraine. He had a passion and love for the Kingdom of God and hurting people. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hodges; a son, Nathan Hodges; a brother, James H. Miley (Margaret); two sisters, Sandy Waters (Charlie) and Karen Futch (Ken); a niece, three nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Don's life will take place at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 6131 Terry Road on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. John Cain, Rev. Jerry Curtis and Rev. Elly Maillet officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, from 6PM to 8PM on Tuesday, May 4, 2004.
