GRASS GREEK: Leak Hockman was born in Hocking county, Ohio, February 7, 1845 and died at her home in Fulton county, Indiana, September 1, 1917, age 79 years, six months and twenty days. She was married to Elias Cox July 7, 1869. To them were born, four children, two of whom, with the husband and father preceded her to the heavenly home. Irwin and Mary mourn her departure. She was converted at the age of eleven and remained a faithful Christian all her life, going away with faith, in her Lord. Funeral was held at Grass Creek U. B. church Monday morning, September 3 conducted by her pastor Rev. Eiler. Interment in Grass Creek cemetery.
