Aurellia B. Fulford Hobby
SYLVESTER - Aurellia B. (Sis) Fulford Hobby, 85, of Sylvester, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12 at 2 P.M. at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Gordon will officiate.
Mrs. Hobby was born in Worth County, GA, on April 30, 1924, to William Fletch Fulford and Beaulah Kilcrease Fulford. She lived in Worth County all of her life. She was a homemaker, who loved working outdoors, and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jesse T. Hobby.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews, Roy Powell (Linda), of Sylvester, Robert Powell of Sylvester, Grady Fulford (Jeanette) of Sylvester, Geneva Killion (Charles) of Tenn., Phoebe Hobby (Olin) of Sylvester, Linda Breeden (Harold) of Lee Co., Boots Martin of Lee Co., Nita Jenkins of Lee Co., Lora Pasco of Atlanta, Daphne Pate (Gillis) of Texas and Mary Forbes of Columbus, GA.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. until service hour at Banks Funeral Home.
