James Willard Hobby, 86, a native of Prichard and resident of Loxley, died Saturday, May 9, 2009.
He was a veteran and was in Pearl Harbor when the attack occured being a World War II Veteran in the South Pacific.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann (Mark) Ranier of Fairhope; and one grandson Jonathan Ranier.
A memorial service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, Pensacola, Fla., at a later time.
The Family requests memorial donations be made to Loxley First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 114, Loxley, AL 36551.
