Mrs. Thomas I. Alligood died at the home of her son, Mr. J.J.Alligood, of this county, on Friday morning last, after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. alligood was about eighty years old and was the daughter of Rev. Larry Hobbs, who is well remembered by many of this section.
She leaves a husband and six children, besides a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends, to mourn her loss.
She was a consistent member of the Baptist Church by far the greater portion of her life. Her remains were interred at Mount Carmel Church, Laurens County, on Saturday last. We extend our sympathies to the bereaved ones.
