A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker, she died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 80, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Nashville, Ark. Visiting was at Hollabaugh Spindle Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ace McVay. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Joseph "Joe" M. Dupuy, Baton Rouge; two daughters, JoAnn Messina and Barbara Wood, both of Baton Rouge; a son, Billy Joe Dupuy, Baton Rouge; a stepson, Robert J. Dupuy, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Frank Hixon, Inverness, Fla.; five grandchildren, Stacey M. Taylor, JoAndrea Doerr, Alexandra Falcon, Adrienne McVea and Brandy Wood; seven great-grandchildren and a dearly beloved pet, Razu Dupuy. Preceded in death by parents. Pallbearers will be Danny Crosby, Bob Doerr, Ellis Gauthier, Tony Falcon, Ronnie Viverata and Marc Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Robert "Catfish" Stevens and John McVea.
