Dorothy Edna Wegner, born on May 10, 1920 in Fredericksburg, TX, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 22, 2004 in San Antonio. She was the daughter of Levi Hitzfeld and Caroline Grobe, and resided in Stonewall, TX before moving to San Antonio in 1925. She was a member of the Hermann Sons (Louise Schuetze Lodge No. 3), a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes and a resident of the Sunshine Plaza Apartments for 26 years. Dorothy was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Alvin 'Buster' Wegner in 1984. She is survived by her daughter, Doris B. Enderlin and husband Vernon G. of San Antonio; son, Ervin L. Wegner and wife Elaine D. of San Antonio; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
