She is survived by sisters Maxine Peterson and Jean Wynkoop of Ocklawaha, FL; Joleta (Harold) Olson of Panama City, FL; sons Dennis McKeever (Sharon) of Zellwood, Richard McKeever (Ruth) of Ocklawaha, John McKeever (Lennie) of Belleville, WV; and Michael McKeever (Roseann) of Hobe Sound, FL and daughters Merri-Lou McKeever (Les Medall) of Rochester, NY and Suzanne Fisher of Ocklawaha, FL.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, James J. McKeever, who she shared her life with for 68 years; also, her son, Thomas, of Albuquerque, NM, and daughter, Patricia.
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grands and great-greats as well as loving friends too many to mention.
Devoutly spiritual, she, along with James, was one of the founders of both Our Lady of Victory Catholic church in Frewsburg, NY, where she was also the church organist, and St. Joseph of the Forest in Silver Springs.
She retired in 1975 from Automatic Voting Machine Corporation where she was supervisor of the printing department for many years. After moving to Florida from Frewsburg, NY, she spent many years as a Meals on Wheels volunteer, a church Eucharistic Minister to shut-ins and go-to person when anyone was in need.
A woman who lived life to its fullest, she stayed interested and active in her large family's activities, including online; her ID 'mom2all' will be retired.
The world has lost a beautiful soul; the family has lost a caring, understanding, generous beacon who was much loved and is missed dearly already.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 24, at 2pm at St. Joseph of the Forest, 17301 Florida 40, Silver Springs, FL 34488. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church at that same address.
