Mrs. Martha Hissom Cooley, 84, wife of Daniel W. Cooley, died Sunday afternoon, December 29th, at 12:15 o'clock at her home on First Avenue, Paden City, W. Va., following a lengthy illness. Born May 25, 1862 at Monroe County, Ohio, the deceased was a life resident of the Paden City Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Grant Fish of New Martinsville, W. Va., and Mrs. Louis Pupal of Cleveland, and two sons, Ira Cooley of the home and Alex Cooley of Sardis. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Paden City. Rev. T. W. Hayes officiated. Burial was in Northview cemetery at New Martinsville.
