Arthur M. Hirsch, 61, 904 Thomas Street, died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock in a local hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Geissler, pastor of Holy Name Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. A rosary service will be held tomorrow evening at 7:30 o'clock in the funeral home. A native and life-long resident of the community, Mr. Hirsch was born here December 7, 1896, the son of the late Max and Augusta Karau Hirsch. He was married in the city April 1, 1923 to Miss Amanda Saager, who survives. He had been employed by the Underwood Veneer Co. Surviving, beside the widow, are a son, Melvin Hirsch, 525 N. Seventh Avenue, two daughters, Mrs. Elroy Wolfe, 902 Thomas Street and Mrs. Roger Kleinschmidt, Town of Rib Mountain, two brothers, Anthony Hirsch, 914 Harrison Blvd., and Peter Hirsch, Alliance, Nebraska, four sisters, Mrs. Jesse Damon, 1619 Fairmont St., Mrs. Albert Wolfgram, Appleton, Mrs. William Cerney, Milwaukee and Mrs. Beatrice Kettlebarough, Alliance and eight grandchildren. A barber. Also worked as a laborer at Underwood Veneer Co., Wausau, Wisconsin.
