ODESSA -- Graveside services for Edith Lyle Blount, 85, of Arlington will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Blount died Sunday, April 19, 1998, at her residence. She was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Valley Mills. She married Joe R. Blount Jan. 17, 1938, in Big Spring. He died in 1984.
She was a longtime resident of Odessa, and a retired clerk for Texas-Pacific Railroad. She loved flowers and her favorite pastime was knitting. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers games. Family and friends will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years.
Funeral arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
