Mary Elizabeth Gardner
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Gardner, age 89, of Wyndale, Miss. and a former resident of Vanndale, died, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, in Mississippi. Mrs. Gardner was a Vanndale native and lived in Wyndale, Miss. for 36 years. She was a homemaker, a former employee of the Mississippi State Tax Commission and a member of Springridge United Methodist Church in Terry, Miss. Mrs. Gardner is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Easley of Terry, Miss., Harriet Gold of Baltimore, Md. and Lynn Dixon of Brandon, Miss; two sons, John K. Gardner of Wyndale, Miss. and Jack W. Gardner of Jackson, Miss. She is also survived by four sisters, Doris Hare, Mabel Davis, June Sanders and Carolyn Lewis; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry K. Gardner; two sons, Larry H. Gardner and George B. Gardner and a brother, Homer Hinton, Jr. Funeral services for Mrs. Gardner will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in the Chapel of Kernodle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vanndale Cemetery.
