Alice Marie Adams, 72, was born to James Farring Hillyard and Alice Virginia Hall on January 16, 1941 in Bethesda, Maryland. She married Coy Nathan Adams Sr. on 1 May 1960 in Arlington, Virginia and the couple had four children, 3 sons and one daughter. They raised their family on the hill overlooking Pickens Chapel, a short drive from the town of Letona in White County, Arkansas. She passed away on April 13, 2013 in Searcy, Arkansas.

Marie was a homemaker and a Christian. She enjoyed gardening and growing roses. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking the children to the favorite swimming hole. Her pets were also a special part of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Coy Adams Sr. of 38 years, and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter Jo Marie Bennett of Searcy, three sons Coy Adams (Kathleen) of Rosebud, Kelly Adams of Searcy, Jesse Adams (Callie) of Searcy; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother Jim Hillard; and other relatives and friends.
