Leila Hilley Dixon, 86, of Augusta, died Saturday morning at her home after several months of declining health.
A native of Elbert County, she had lived in Augusta for 11 years and was a daughter of the late W Henry and Fannie Jones Hilley.
She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was the widow of Clinton S Dixon.
Surviving are a brother Carey Hilley of Elberton, two sisters, Mrs Bessie H Fleming of Eastman, Mrs Belle H Hall of Greenwood, SC three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Hicks Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev Howard Staples. Burial was in the Bethelehem Church Cemetery.
