Mary Frances Bell, age 93, passed away on Monday (January 16, 2012) in Plains, Ga. Mary Frances was the daughter of Dorah L. and Hazel (Hamilton) Hill, and was born on November 11, 1918 in Dallas, Tx. She moved to Tallahassee in1956 and had been a long time resident up until recently. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School in Wichita Falls, Texas and of Hardin Jr. College. Mary Frances received her Masters in Physical Education from North Texas State Teachers College and also taught there for several years. She also taught at the University of Texas,Texas Technological College and UTEP. Mary Frances was an avid golfer and a member of the Ladies Golf Assn. and the Capital City Country Club. She was also a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a devoted member of the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class, not to mention serving on the Sacristy Committee. She was a volunteer at Kate Sullivan Elementary School and served as a Gray Lady. Mary Frances was a member of the Seminole Booster Club and enjoyed all Seminole sporting events. Survivors include her loving husband: Bill H. Bell , a daughter: Jan (Morgan) Collins of Albany, Ga., grandchildren: Will (Kelly) Collins and Lynn (Jason) Grizzard of Macon, Ga. and Ms. Claran Collins of Buford, Ga. and one great-granddaughter: Sydney Collins. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society . Visitation will be on Thursday at Noon until 12:45 p.m. at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home 700 Timberlane Road with a Graveside Service at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery
