She had previously worked for Sears for over 20 years.
She was a faithful member of Rockwood Baptist Church for over fifty years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Leonard Dye of Independence; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jerry Weimer of Independence; two grandchildren; six great-grandsons; three step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were April 27, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, with burial in Floral Hills Cemetery.
