Donald Hill, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his beloved family on Friday, April 22, 2016.

Donald was born on October 30, 1926 in Red Bush, Kentucky to the late Estill and Effie Magnard Hill. With great pride and honor he served in the United States Air Force during World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. After 20 years of service he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant.

Following his active duty career, Donald worked for 18 years at Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery. He always enjoyed being outdoors; playing horseshoes, hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling in his motor home. However his greatest joy was found in his family and friends.

Along with his parents, his beloved wife, Louraine Hill, and sons, Donald E. Hill, Jr. and Anthony Shawn Hill, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Greg Hill of West Monroe, Louisiana; Janie H. Williams (Tom) of Kathleen; Leland Shane Hill (Patty) of Clinchfield, Georgia; Lawanna Denise Conklin of Pahrump, Nevada; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many many friends, and "Stacey".

Visitation with Donald's family will be Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Magnolia Park Cemetery where Donald will be laid to rest. Full military honors will be rendered in conclusion of the service.
