RUSHVILLE — Isabelle H. Dill, 98, a former Rush County resident, passed away in Pennsylvania on July 8, 2012. She was born in Rush County on July 1, 1914 to the late Sherman Hill and Ruth (Miles) Hill. She was in the graduating class of 1932 at Raleigh High School. She married Russell Dill on June 22, 1935 and he passed away April 28, 1997. Isabelle had been a member of the Main Street Christian Church since 1960. She was involved in Tri Kappa Sorority, Martha Washington Homemakers, the Sunshine Club and Young Peoples Guild of Lewisville. She also served 2 terms as the Rush County Recorder.
Isabelle is survived by her daughter, Janet Van Bibber and husband Larry, of Jefferson Hills, PA., daughter-in-law, Benita Dill of Huntington Beach, CA., grandchildren, Michael & wife Michelle VanBibber, David & wife Sarah VanBibber and Jeffery VanBibber, Shannon & husband Gary Ferguson and Laurie & husband Porfie Sicaeros and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Hill, sisters, Marjorie Brownell and June Hill and a son, Larry Dill.
Services for Isabelle will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 13 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Reverend Susan Harcourt Gray presiding. Friends may call from 9:30AM until time of service on Friday. Burial will be in the Raleigh Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be to the Main Street Christian Church or American Heart Association.
