Linda Kay Calvert, 64, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday at her residence in Muncie. She was born in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Escal E. and Irene (Little) Hill. On June 1, 1968 she married Larry Calvert.
She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1964 and from Ball State University in 1968. She retired from New Venture Gear after 36 years of service. She was loved by her family very much. She was a member of the Fairlawn Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving relatives include her loving husband, Larry Calvert; son, Nathan; daughter, Angela; brother, Don Hill; a special aunt; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services wil be 11 a.m. Monday at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN. Pastor Mike Barnes will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
