George Hill Dead
Died, at his home, formerly the Kaempfer place, at Case, Colo., Thursday morning, January 30, 1908. Mr. George Hill, deceased, was born in Illinois and was 76 years of age. Since coming to Colorado he has lived in various places near this vicinity and settled at Case three years ago. His genial disposition endeared him to all with whom he associated. He leaves a wife and five sons to mourn his loss, all of whom were present at his bedside and administered tenderly unto him. Three of the sons are residents here, the home of one is in Kansas, and the other lives in Routt County, Colo.
The funeral was conducted at the home by W. I. Whittier, on Saturday, in the presence of the family and many sympathizing neighbors, and the body laid to rest in the Case Cemetery. A niece from Colorado Springs came up to attend the funeral.
