Ruth H. Dixon, age 97, of Shelbyville Tennessee, passed away on Friday the 7th of January at the Lynchburg Nursing Center in Lynchburg Tennessee.
The graveside service held at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Cemetery on Thompson Lane in Nashville Tennessee.
She was born December 25th 1914 to the late W. B. and Vera Elizabeth Cooper Hill.
Her late husband Clarence Lindel Dixon preceded her in Death.
She is survived by her son C.L. "Buddy" Dixon and his wife Martha G. Dixon of Hot Springs Village Arkansas. Four grandchildren David R. Dixon and his wife Kristen of Houston Texas, Marthalyn Weil and husband Bob of Oswego Kansas, Anne-Marie McMichael and husband Ed of Houston Texas, and Elizabeth Anne McGee and husband Jason of Burleson Texas; Thirteen Great Grand Children and several nieces and nephews.
She retired from Cain-Sloan in Nashville after 28 years. After returning to Shelbyville in 1984 she worked for several years at Wal-Mart in Shelbyville. She was a member of Fairlane Church of Christ.
