KAYSVILLE--Glen Webster Hill, age 70, passed away in an Ogden hospital, Monday, September 27, 1993 after years of enduring a courageous daily struggle with MS.
Born in Kaysville, Utah, October 26, 1922, a son of Leonard and Blanche Webster Hill. Married Margene Liljenquist on May 6, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He devoted his life to his family and the church.
He served in many callings including a bishop. In his earlier years, he served his community and was a former president of the Kaysville JayCees.
Many years he worked at Clover Club Foods as an accountant. He graduated from BYU and served briefly in World War II as a Marine.
His survivors are his wife of 50 years; two sons, Rodney G. Hill and wife, Linda, Kaysville; Douglas L. Hill and wife, Jody, Cheyenne, Wyo.; daughter, Nancy Summers and husband, Steven, Bluemont, Virginia; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, whom he adored.
Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Leonard W. Hill, Jr. and wife, Texie, Halfway, Oregon; Jean and husband, Lloyd Brink, Merced, Calif.; Odessa and husband, Jay Harris, Layton; Gay and husband, Gary Ongley, San Diego, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 1993, at 11 a.m., at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center St., Kaysville. Family will be greeting friends at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main on Thursday, September 30, from 6 until 8 p.m. and Friday at the tabernacle one hour prior to the service.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
