Dwight Hill, 88, Carmi, died April 1, 2002 at White County Medical Center in Carmi.
Mr. Hill was born March 30, 1914 in Emma, the son of Ben J. and Virginia Pitman Hill. He married Bertha Allardin, May 31, 1949, and she preceded him in death April 21, 1997. Mr. Hill was owner of Hill's Strawberry Patch.
Surviving are two nieces, Mitzi Absher Lathrop and Charlene Vaughan, four nephews, Charles E. , Rick, and Rodney P. Absher and Deaon Allardin; a sister in law, Ava Allardin; and a brother in law, Fred Endicott of Carmi.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Nibling and three brother, Lon, Loren and Ben Hill.
Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro.
