DALLAS — Adolph Hildebrand, 90, died Sunday.
He was born in Inman, Kan., and moved to Dallas when he was 18. He married Louise Quiring in 1932, and she died in 1964. He was self-employed in the farming industry. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and served on the board of Salem Academy and his church.
Survivors include his wife, Elma (Roth), whom he married in 1966; daughters, Joanne Rickard and Nancy Hedberg, both of Salem, Sharon Olson of Scotts Valley, Calif., Eloise Tow of Newport; son, Don of Medford; stepson, Jerry Roth of Salem; stepdaughter, Shirley Nafzinger of Washington; 13 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors in Salem. Interment will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Salt Creek Cemetery. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kingwood Bible Church in Salem, where he was a member. Contributions: Salem Academy.
