Christine Hilburn, 103, of Pensacola, passed away April 14, 2014.She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church an a former member of Whitfield Baptist Church. Church, family, friends and gardening were all her passions in life.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Von Hilburn; a son, James Hilburn; three grandsons, Stephen Hilburn, Jimmy Hilburn and Tim Hilburn and granddaughter, Deborah Ann Hilburn.
She is survived by son, Robert "Von" Hilburn (Alice Faye); five grandchildren, Rockie K. Hilburn, Sr., Earl V. Hilburn (Leslie), Anthony Hilburn (Peggy), Rebecca Hilburn and Jennie "Bug" Simpson and a host of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 1:30 pm until the 2:30 pm funeral service at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Reverend John Pavlus will officiate and burial will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
