Margarette Brandenburg, 92, passed away February 28, 2013. She was born January 5, 1921 in Temple, Texas.
Margarette grew up in Abilene, Texas where she graduated from Abilene High School and briefly attended McMurray College. She was a member of the Oak Cliff #67 Rainbow for Girls, the Eastern Star.
Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Brandenburg III; parents, Dewey Lee and Willie Lee Higginbotham; brother, Dewey Lee Jr.; and daughter Bettina Duncan.
Graveside service March 4, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home.
