Born in Intercourse, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Elizabeth Howe. She and her husband, Charles E. "Bud" Hiester, were married 41 years on February 7.
A seamstress at various sewing factories in Ephrata, Ann enjoyed sewing, crocheting and taking care of her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Alfred (Deborah Binner) Kitch, Ephrata, Martha Coble, and Lisa J. (R. Jay) McElroy, with whom she lived; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Funeral will be Monday at 1:30 p.m., Viewing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Ephrata. www.roseborofuneralhome.com
