Mrs. Emma Hicks, age 88, passed away at her residence, 120 DeChanille Rd, on May 27th. Mrs. Hicks had resided in San Antonio for 40 years and was a member of the Lutheran Church of Marion, Texas.
Survivors: daughters Mrs. Rose Gunkel and Mrs. Ernest Keudell both of San Antonio; sister Mrs. Annie Wenzel of New Braunfels, TX; nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services are at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the drawing room of the Charles Hanavan Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Moench and Rev. J. Edward Marshall officiating. Interment in San Jose cemetery. Arrangements by Charles Hanavan Funeral Service.
