Allen Benjamin HICKS was a son of James John HICKS and Frances Elizabeth (ADAMS) HICKS.

Paternal grandparents were James M. HICKS and Margaret E. (FRANKLIN) HICKS.

Maternal grandparents were James ADAMS and Matilda (BERWICK) ADAMS.

Among his paternal great-great grandparents was Thomas B. FRANKLIN, father of Margaret E. (FRANKLIN) HICKS.

His parents and maternal grandparents are interred in Willow Creek Cemetery near Tomball, Harris County, Texas.

He was the widow of Ludie L. (TABB) HICKS, who was a daughter of Henry TABB and Susie (MITCHELL) TABB.
