Betty Jo Wilson, 77, of Wichita Falls, died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Wichita Falls.
Services at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29,2012, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Dr. Rev.R.M. Castle, pastor, officiating. Burial in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Wells Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
She was born April 11, 1935.
She graduated from Vernon Regional Junior College with a Associate Degree in Child Development. She worked with Head Start and Early Childhood Development.
She served for two years as treasurer with Kairos Outside Wichita Fall. She was an active participant in the Neighborhood Watch. A Member of Mt. Pleasant Church and a Sunday School teacher for Junior boys for over thirty years. She was a member of the True and Tried Circle, MissionII, Hospitality Committee and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Choir for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Wilson, Jr. and great-granddaughter, Breeanna Nashae Kelly.
Survivors include children, Mae Nell Moffitt, Deidra Kay Brazier, Rene'Lynn Wilson, Jualata Marie Brooks, William Wilson III; grandchildren, Shameka Moffitt, Shanta Henderson(Darryl), Michaela Brooks, Wremaine Wilson(Mary), Tremaine Wilson, Marzae Mukoko(TarNeisha), Pamela Mukoko; 18 great-grandchildren, *four sisters, three brothers, nieces, nephews.
