| Birth: | Feb. 6, 1915 | | Death: | Aug. 17, 2004 |  MARY R. EDMISTON, 89, died at 4:56 p.m. Aug. 17, 2004, at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 6, 1915, in Van Wert to John and Mary Kingery Hickle, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 22, 1968, she married Carl Dewalt Edmiston, who died Oct. 15, 1985.
Mrs. Edmiston had been a nurses aid at Lima Convalescent Home, where she had also been a volunteer. She was a member of County Line Church of the Brethren, Harrod, and its Ladies Fellowship. She had been a member of the Lima Senior Citizens and the Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include a stepson, Larry (Gloria) Edmiston of Columbus Grove; three stepdaughters, Carol Winkle of Lima, Arlene (Robert) Wilson of Uniopolis and Phyllis (Charles) Allinger of West Chester; a stepson-in-law, Kenneth (Gloria) Kline of Lima; and 17 stepgrandchildren and 27 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Janet Kline; a sister, Martha Wollet; two half sisters, Clara Kolby and Easter Eutsler; and a stepsister, Lucille Subier.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at County Line Church of the Brethren, Harrod. Pastors Thomas Dearth and David Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in King Cemetery, Middle Point.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to County Line Church of the Brethren.
