ELDER, RUTHANN HIBBS - A lifelong resident of Brownsville and of 309 Front SI., died In Brownsville
General Hospital Friday, Aug. 24,1973 at 2:30 a.m. following a brief illness. Mrs. Elder was born .in Luzeme Twp., a daughler of Ihe late James W. and Florence Swan Hibbs. She was a member of the Fort Burd Presbylerian Church, Brownsville; the Women's Organization of the church; Ihe Brownsville Historical Society, and was a Rotary Ann of the Brownsville Rotary Club. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert R. Elder; a daughter, Mrs. Florence E.Kisinger of Mai-dor Manor, Brownsville;
a son, Robert R. Elder Jr. of Newton Center, Mass.; five grandchildren; three sisters. Margaret Hibbs, Mrs. Ada Markle and Mrs Elizabeth Williams, all of Pittsburgh; one brother. James A. Hibbs of Peoria, III. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by three sisters. Mrs. Florence Lane, Mrs. Elma Wilkins and Mrs. Kalhryn Thompson. Friends are being received In the J.W. Klsinger Funeral Home, 515 Front St., Brownsville, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where private funeral services will
be held Sunday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald J. Dilley officiating. Interment will follow in Redstone Cemetery, Brownsville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made lo the Heart Assn.
