The Heart and Soul of our family has gone to heaven and is sure to be the life of the party with all her family and friends that passed before her. She slipped away peacefully in her sleep on October 29, 2018 at the age of 92.

Born and raised in Panguitch, Utah where she married her sweetheart, Dee Heywood.

They raised a family of five nuts all of whom have their mom's sense of humor and fun-loving ways. She made her home in Magna and lived there for 35 years. While raising her children she worked for Jake Harmon as a meat wrapper, Litton industries making mother boards for NASA, and lifelong friends. She was a member of the Magna Mt. Riders and enjoyed fishing and camping with Dee and the nuts.

After retirement she moved back to Panguitch where she and Dee built their Ponderosa, raised sheep, chickens and grandkids. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Saint George Temple in 2000. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She was a master hand quilter, and she won blue ribbons at the county fair for her baby afghans. Her beautiful doilies are displayed in all her family and friend's homes.

She lost her love in 2006, and in 2008 she married her longtime friend, Elvon Holman.

She not only got a good man, but she got three wonderful bonus kids, and many sweet bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Dan and Jan Dodds, Diana Hancock and Bob, Janice Coon and Stan Wilczynski, DeLayne Whiting and Wayne, Cindy and Jack Vosgerau; brother, Billy J and Jo Dodds; bonus children, John Holman, Arden Holman and Marilyn, LuAnn and Keven Inkley; her lucky thirteen grandchildren, plus many bonus grandchildren through marriages, all of which she loved as her own; 35 great grands, and god only knows how many great-great grandkids.

She made a lasting impression on all who met her and will be truly missed.

A special thanks to Meggan Newbold for all her kind care and service.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where a viewing will be held Thursday 1-2 p.m. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Panguitch, Utah cemetery.
