the daughter of the late Albert and Alice Allen Boynton. She was a graduate of Warren High School and the Central Pa. Business School in Harrisburg, Pa. She had worked for
the Department of Human Services for 26 years, retiring in
1998. She was a member of the Trinity Memorial Church,
where she was a member of the Vestry. Barbara was known for
her great sense of humor, was a great story teller, and took pleasure in helping others. She enjoyed music, flowers, cooking, and puzzles. She was an avid reader and loved to write also. She was also known as "the Scrabble queen."She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Williams, Warren; two sons, Patrick W. and Timothy G. Hesch, both
of Warren; a brother, Albert "Bill" Boynton, McAllisterville, Pa.; five grandchildren, Clayton and Jessica Hesch, and Jeremy, Toby, and Cody
Williams, all of Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by
a son, Michael A. Hesch in 1967; a brother, Edward Boynton; and a sister, Nancy Miller.
