Mary E. Crago, 85, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord July 6, 2003 following an extended illness. She was born February 26, 1918 in Chillicothe to Roy and Mabel Muntz Hertenstein.
Two husbands, Harry Carroll and Marcus Crago; and one infant son, Roger Carroll, preceded Mary in death.
A brother, Roy; two sisters, Louise and Dorothy; several stepchildren; and many friends and other relatives survive her.
Mary belonged to the Bethel United Methodist Church, and was active in the Bethel W.S.C.S., Liberty Garden Club, Ross Lake Homemakers, Elmdale Grange, and Pomona Grange. She served on the Ross County Board of Elections and was a former Clerk of Springfield Township.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Cousins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call at Hill's today from 6 to 8 p.m., with Grange memorial services at 8 p.m.
