Mrs. Bowden was born 10 Mar 1917, in Chambersville to Joseph C. & Ada E. Horn Herron. She married Joe Aaron Bowden in 1959 in Durant, OK. She was a nurse & member of Faith Memorial Bapt. Church. Survivors: 2daus: Barbara Moore & Pat Crosswhite, both of McKinney; grandsons: Kyle Moore, Chase Crosswhite & Caleb Crosswhite, all of McKinney; great-grandsons, Bryson Moore & Dylan Moore, both of McKinney; sis: Cecil Mayes-McKinney, Edna Burton-Dallas & Mary West-Paris; bros: J. C. Herron-Van Alstyne & Ernest Herron-McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers & one grandson.
